Born in 1958 in Sofia. In 1982, he graduated from the “St Cyril and St Methodius University” ” – Veliko Turnovo with specialty in Bulgarian philology and history. Several years he was working as a teacher and as a curator at a museum and from 1988 to 2000 – at the “Higher School of Transport – Sofia”.
From year 2000 till now is an Associate Professor of Economic History in the University of National and World Economy- Sofia. He got a Ph.D. in year 1996 with a dissertation on “General Racho Petrov – a military and political activist” and was elected Associate Professor of Bulgarian History in 2000.
His research interests are in the field of Economic history, Constitutional and Ministerial criminal liability in Bulgaria. He has published two monographs, over 50 articles and research reports.
